Blogger import – from own site

I’ve been hosting my Blogger blog on my own site (www.polliweb.com) for about 3 years and would like to make the transition to WP. I’ve got about 200 posts and images to boot – so am excited about the change but scared of breaking my blog. (yes, I’ve just made a site backup).

Ideally I’d like to keep the blog on my Polliweb site, but if needs be I can migrate to another domain I’ve got (www.polli.id.au) for the purposes of the intstall.

I’ve completed the 5min installation on polli.id.au and tried to run the importer.. When I run it, it find no posts to import and from there I’m a bit stuck.

I’ve also heard that one cannot easily import images from a Blogger blog.

Can some kind soul point me in the right direction?
