Blogger account has 0 posts

  • Finally wordpress 2.2 has the ‘NEW’ blogger import function. All works well, until!!! I end up on the blogger account page in wordpress. It shows all the blogs you have on blogger. But….one little problem. My blogs resolve in 0 posts and 0 comments. So I can’t import anything.

    And when I try to import, by pressing the import button behind a blog, a pop up comes and says: “Nothing was imported. Did you already import this blog?”

    No idea what to do. My blog has like 278 posts, and I really don’t want to lose em. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Ah just a follow up note: ( I did import one of the 4 blogs i had once before, BUT that was on another WP blog, I currently installed a new one)

    hmmmz I’m thinking of importing a RSS feed, but does anyone know if that is also possible for the NEW blogger system?? Maybe I can save all my posts into an RSS feed and then import it through blogger??

    Im trying different computers, but still I only get to see 0 posts. Strange thing is, if you want to give your blogger/google account acces to your blogger import it show a link to the right https://www.blogger.com/feeds, but clicking it resolves to an unknown page..

    Very weird this! Anyone else haveing trouble importing from new blogger account??

    ok last try I will post a detailed step walkthrough!!

    I press manage and select blogger and this is the screen that follows:
    screen 1

    When I press AUTHORIZE I get this second screen:
    screen 2

    I press authorize and then the screen with the blogs I have at google/blogger appears:

    screen 3

    As you can see, the above 3 blogs have 0 posts and 0 comments ??

    So even tho its useless IF i press the magic button, it pops up with this message:

    screen 4

    Im totally cluelesss and really hope you guys can help.

    Are you publishing those blogs via FTP or something? Try switching them to blogspot blogs instead.

    On your first screenshot it is the middle line:
    To use this importer, you must have a Google account, an upgraded (New, was Beta) blog, and it must be on blogspot or a custom domain (not FTP).
    ??
