Blog within my website?

  • I am developing a website for my business and would also like to have a hopefully popular blog. Is it better to do the blog separate from my website or in my site?

    OR I think I read that you can do a blog and also embed the posts in your wordpress website.

    Anybody know the best way? Thanks
