blog within a blog plugin?

Hi, is there a plugin where I can make a PAGE of my blog, a blog in itself? I want to update my visitors with news going on within the site, but I want it on a certain page, and not on the main blog itself.

If not, I will just create a page and date each new post, although I’d like people to be able to comment on each individually, not just at the end of a big long list of updates.

Is this possible?
