Particularly:

That image is, as you might guess from the title, blank: https://s0.wp.com/i/blank.jpg

I’m guess you’re using Jetpack’s Site Icon module, but haven’t saved a Site Icon yet?

That’s probably it, James. My programmers built the site. I know my way around a WP dashboard but not the coding. JetPack is installed – is that where I should be looking to “save an icon?” (Sorry to appear daft, here)

You can set your icon at Settings -> General in your blog’s Dashboard.
