Blog Title Goes to Post?

Using 1.2 when I click on an individual post, the Blog Title in the Header is a link to the post I am viewing.
Is this the expected behavior?
I would think that the Blog Title in the Header should always point to the root of the blog so that a user can easily get back to the main page.
Am I doing something wrong? Is it a bug?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
