Blog theme does NOT show colors/images etc

  • Hi,

    I just added another site to my hostgator account and uploaded a new theme on https://www.sbicreditcard.com and it is just plain with text/links. Its missing colors/images etc.

    I tried 3 different themes and all 3 are missing colors/images etc.

    I use same theme at https://www.creditreportblog.com already in the hostgator account and it displays everything perfectly.

    Please advise what is the problem and why am I missing these colors/images etc? Also the theme preview in the wordpress dashboard is missing the thumbnail image and just shows an empty box for all the themes.

    OK just resolved the issue.

    Problem: When we added the new domain today, the cpanel automatically added it to hotlink protection “allowed URLs” using the newdomain as sub-domain of the original domain i.e. sbicreditcard.creditreportblog.com

    But it did not add sbicreditcard.com alone in the hotlink protection “allowed URLs” box while creditreportblog.com was allowed originally.

    We just also added sbicreditcard.com to the “allowed URLs” box and activated the hotlink-protection. So now hotlinking is protected but these URLs are allowed:

    creditreportblog.com — cpanel automatically allowed it.
    sbicreditcard.creditreportblog.com — cpanel automatically allowed it.
    sbicreditcard.com — just added myself manually.

    Problem solved.
