Does ‘Generate Press’ automatically create monthly blog summary pages for my website, as in the example URL?

These pages were picked up by accident by my SEO software. The pages don’t appear in my site’s menu.

I’d like to have control over the pages when they are automatically created, for example, to include them in the menu. Is this possible?

    Can anyone help, please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

No, GP does NOT do that, but WordPress does.

Do you mean you want to add the date archive pages to your menu? If so, you can add custom links to the menu at appearance > menus.

If you want to add the link you attached, the custom link would be /2023/06/

    Thanks, Ying.

What would be the normal protocol for such automatically produced pages? Should I add them in the menu as supplementary pages or add the links to the main page?

Is there anywhere in WordPress that I can access settings for these pages?

    Regards,

    Brian

GP doesn’t have control over the menu builder, nor the archives, unfortunately.

WP offers an archive block, which would output all date archive links, you might want to try that. For where to add it, it depends on your needs.

For the date archive, i don’t think there’s specific settings for that. However, I might be wrong, to be sure of the answer, it’s best to reach out to WP’s support.
