• Since an issue with Free Virtual Servers messing up my htaccess file for my html site meaning it went down just as google tried to crawl it (thanks a bunch FVS) I now have multiple issues:

For main site (might be relevant) google says it can’t find my robots.txt file so isn;t crawling it – I’ve now dropped off page one.

This was odd as I didn’t have a robots file, but now have created one to try to sort the issue – no change.

Getting google to fetch my blog tells me it’s redirecting to the same place it already is – here’s the google detail:

    HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently
    Date: Sun, 01 Jun 2014 15:41:35 GMT
    Server: Apache
    Location: https://www.fizzwebdesign.co.uk/blog/
    Content-Length: 244
    Connection: close
    Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
    <html><head>
    <title>301 Moved Permanently</title>
    </head><body>
    <h1>Moved Permanently</h1>
    <p>The document has moved <a href="https://www.fizzwebdesign.co.uk/blog/">here</a>.</p>
    </body></html>

Can anyone help here before I drop off the google planet completely?
