I am trying to find the best way to import my FeedBurner subscribers into my JetPack database without having my subscribers opt-in again since they already have done that through FeedBurner. I want to use JetPack to send my blog updates and no longer want to use Feedburner.

    Hi,

There’s currently no way to import Feedburner subscribers into Jetpack. Your best option would be to write a new post and ask your subscribers to go to your site and resubscribe using the Jetpack subscription widget.

Now that Google Reader got its death sentence, it’s a matter of time before Feedburner is killed, too. Maybe now it’s a good idea to add an import function to Jetpack Subscriptions.

Hi Leemon, I understand your concerns with Feedburner. I’ll pass on the suggestion, thanks!

Any progress on the import functionality? Jetpack plugin is brilliant but this lacking feature is really killing it ??
