• Hi Everyone,

    Strangest problem here.

I’m using Firefox 3.05.15 (and formerly 3.05.13 with this problem) and my blog at https://www.goodthinkingstuff.com and the dashboard, for a brief moment, appears at it’s normal size, and then becomes smaller (as if I increased screen resolution). All other websites appear correctly in Firefox. My blog and dashboard look fine in IE6 and Chrome. A friend tested with Firefox 3.05.15 and it looked fine.

Has anyone experienced this? Does it sound like a browser issue (my blog is the ONLY site affected)?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Rick Beneteau

Flush your browser cache. It looks fine in IE6 and FF3.whatever and Chrome for me!

I tried that, and should have said so in my original post, Ipstenu, but no luck. Even tried again after your post, same deal. Tried restarting FF AND computer, hard booting as well. Upgraded from FF 3.05.13 to 3.05.15 to no avail. Trusting this is a flukey browser issue at my end and no one else sees it.

    Thanks for trying to help:-)

Looks fine to me in FF3.5 and IE8

Only thing I see (in Safari) is that the header_2.gif loads slightly slow, and the page seems to jump after the text is loaded and the gif pops in. Your code says it’s pulling a random image for the header, so if there’s some code churning away in the backgroun and not working correctly to select that random image, that might be it.

Try visiting your site and then selecting the View -> Zoom -> Reset menu option in Firefox. I use Mac Firefox, so the zoom reset menu option may be elsewhere or renamed in your version of Firefox.

If this does not work, try disabling any Firefox add-ons (especially text size ones like NoSquint).

Iridiax, that was it!:-) Thank you!

Songdogtech, yes, this is a rotating image script that came with the theme (rotating the same image in this case) that I need to change to a static image. Thank you:-)

And thanks all for the help. Much appreciated!
