    are you using page templates?

for static pages, the theme has a page template ‘Sidebar Template’ which you can assign to a page under ‘page attributes’ on the ‘edit page’ page in the dashboard.

it might help if you could post a link to your site.

Yes i know this feature and is working with all pages except blogs. Any idea how to place the sidebar there? Thanks for your help appreciate it!

    My site: https://www.e-hacking.com

is working with all pages except blogs.

can you post a link to one of these blogs?

i see a sidebar in each of the pages from the main menu – apart from the forum page which seems to be different.

    edit:
if you are talking about single posts, then you need to edit single.php and functions.php to include a sidebar – for instance see here (read to the end, there is an explanation on how to restrict the change to just single posts).

You mean that i do not need to do all the steps from this article?

I also find this. To this article is not required to edit functions.php file, what do you think about that?

I wrote this article to add the sidebar to single posts and pages; then later added some instructions to change it to act only on single posts – this is the reason I suggested that you read the full article first, before implementing the code.
it works with all theme layout options, and with all browser widths, in the same way as the frontpage sidebar would do.

    if it works – fine.
my the first impression, it might not be flexible with all theme layout options, and/or with adapting to changing browser widths.

Okay i will yours thank you very much.

Well i have some troubles with function.php file. I create a function.php file into the child theme and i paste the code but i got a huge code to the top of my site ?? I mess up… I know i have to put something into the functions.php file first like style.css. I have to search it…

if you make a new functions.php, it needs to start with:

    <?php

no other characters are allowed before that.
