blog shows up in multiple wordpres directories

    Hi there,

    I just installed wordpress. The site shows up fine when someone goes to the URL, and wordpress admin stuff stays nicely in the wordpress directory. However when anyone goes to a /wordpress/whatever directory they get the blog as it appears on the root. So domain.com/wwordpress/wp-content looks the same as domain.com

    How do I change it so that all web traffic goes direct to the sites main root (leaving aside the fact that admins log-in a wordpress/wp-admin).

    I think you previously install the wordpress at domain.com/wordpress and after that you transfer it at root domain.com. But you did not update Database. Where you need to change your path of site url and home at wp_option table.

    Please double check your database also.
