• I’ve redesigned my blog. (Only the blog section is WordPress. None of the other pages are.)

I’m particularly proud of my clickable-header technology. For instance, if you go to this page (a Gallery sub-page) and click on the header, you’ll be taken to the main Gallery page. Now if you click the header again, you’ll be taken back to the main blog page. (The obvious response to this is that clicking the header should always lead to the same page, otherwise the visitor may get confused. Perhaps. Oh well.)

If you find any glitches, please let me know.

    Thank you.

  • nice blog, a very good and brandable logo. actually the domain is very good too, cyberquill, sounds good.

about your header pointing to different pages, i guess users will find it difficult because they have got quite a bit of habit of clicking on the header to reach the homepage.

You have very good content on your blog, perhaps you can use social media to your advantage to get more buzz out of your content. Perhaps you can use a plugin that shows those buttons directly. like a tweetmeme button.

best of luck with your blog, keep it updated,
    cheers,

Thanks for the input. Maybe I’ll change my clickable header so it leads to main blog page every time. It only leads elsewhere when one is in a submenu, so one is taken back to the main page after two header clicks at the most.

In order to get more buzz from my content, I suppose blogging more often would help. I’m a bit of a lazy bum when it comes to producing content. Last time I posted something was over a month ago. But yeah, maybe I’ll get a different social media plugin. Actually, right now I have two: a ShareThis icon at the top-right on every page, and an Add-To-Any thingie and a little twitter-bird at the bottom of each post.

I get very confused if I click on the header / logo and don’t get taken back to the homepage. On the other hand, many users don’t even know that the header area / logo is clickable. So it’s not a great solution all round
