Blog posts’ page customisation

This is how the theme shows its featured images, Rod. How would you prefer for them to be shown? It might be better to hide the featured image (I’m pretty sure there’s an option for that) then show it in the content at the size and position that you’d prefer. That way the post can still have a featured image (for SEO etc) but not be massive on your screen. What do you think?

Hi Oliver.

I am talking about the page that lists all blog posts. I find that the image takes a huge space. I have chosen to show the image plus title plus excerpt.

I tried to edit the page and select a “medium” image size but it doesn’t respond to the changes when I preview.
I tried also to create a new blog page by inserting a query block with the list of posts but there aren’t many options to customize it.

Maybe I just need to chose images that are wider than their height so they don’t show as big.

By the way, when I do a preview on a different tab, it opens a preview of the home page instead. I need to “view” the page in order to see the result.

Any suggestions?

There is no option to change this.

How are you wanting to display them exactly?

Have you tried selecting “Posts / Blog Page” on any of the following options in “Customizer – General Options” to see if those layouts are what you are looking for … ?

• Archive Grid Template
• Archive Row Template
• Archive Column Template
• Archive Card Template
