Blog posts on static front page

  • Hi all…

    What I would really like to do is have something like this happen on my site:

    https://sewchicandunique.com/

    I would love to have my last three blog posts show up with basic info, featured image and excerpt under a static image or something like that. My question is: How would I make that happen with WordPress?
