Blog posts not showing up.

  • I recently published blog posts and they do not show up under the Blog section of my site.

    In fact, the blog posts that I publish are visible under the page called “Blog” when I click “Visit Site” on the WordPress Dashboard, but do not show up when viewing directly in browser (Firefox and Chrome).

    The weird thing is that when I send the PAGE called “Blog” to the trash, then permanently delete the PAGE called “Blog” and then add a new PAGE called “Blog”, the blog posts that were not showing are now showing both under the “Visit Site” on the WordPress Dashboard and in the browsers (Firefox and Chrome).

    However, when I try to publish new blog posts under the new page called “Blog”, the published posts won’t show up unless I repeat once again the steps in the above paragraph.

    Any idea on what could be causing this?

    Another thing worth mentioning is that if I edit a blog post that has been published and that is already visible in Firefox and Chrome (“Welcome to YEG Picnic” for example), the changes will be visible immediately after I click “update”.

    But again, if I write and publish a new blog post, I won’t be able to see it in Firefox and Chrome unless I send the PAGE called “Blog” to the trash, then permanently delete the PAGE called “Blog” and then add a new PAGE called “Blog”, the blog post that would not be visible before would not be visible in Chrome and Firefox.

    I can’t start deleting the assigned blog page and create a new one every time I need to add the new blog posts that I published.

    What’s wrong with my site?

    I solved the problem!

    I switched to a different theme to see if this could be the problem, but it wasn’t.

    I tried deactivating and reactivating all the installed plugins and BINGO! Found out that Quick Cache was the cause. I ended up reactivating all the plugins, except Quick Cache and everything is now working fine.

    Okay, I tried to add another cache plugin (WP Super Cache) and ran into the exact same problem. Why would my published blog post not be showing on my blog when I have a cache plugin activated?

    Hey nice blog! Sorry I can’t help you since I’m still noob to WP. I am curious how you got your posts in order inside your blog? I’m trying to get my posts to show up like yours but I’m clueless. lol. I like your looks of your blog. Very nice job! ??

    I am missing blog posts as well
    About 3 weeks of already posted ones and scheduled ones too.
    Media images for these posts are gone
    Not ready to do use DB backup yet

    I’m wondering if it’s plugins which have not yet been updated, however it’s really quite upsetting….

    If you have any ideas please post on here! ??

    Did you end up solving the problem?

    The problem I had was associated with WP Super Cache. Deactivated the plugin and found another one.

    I am a new user and can’t get my blogs to show up. My blog posts appear in my dashboard but they do not show up when published. HELP!
