Blog posts not showing, please help!

  • I am using wordpress as my dj blog and website and am looking forward to getting it up and running!

    I have the “about” page as my static front page. I am going to change this around using the headway theme, but this is it for now.

    I want my blog posts to show up in the “media now” tab but they are not showing up anywhere in the site! I played around with the reading panel but to no avail. This is super frustrating, but i expect it b/c i am new at this. Could anyone please help me?

  • well….it was on there…since you were using the theme. The most recent version of headway, with your mods, should still be on there

    The only way it could be gone is if its deleted. If it somehow went missing….ask dreamhost if they keep backups….I just don’t see any way it could go missing

    You were talking about going onto the server and accessing wp>content. I’m not sure how to do that. I went up and down all the options on the dashboard but I am assuming that it is not there and must be elsewhere.

    …and do you mean that it should be under: appearances>themes?

    you do it through ftp software, or a file manager if your host has one. Not through any part of wordpress.

    OK! Got it!!! I found the theme, it was a little hidden but not too bad! Thanks, now alls i have to do is figure out how to make it do what i need to. Thanks again for your help!!!
