Blog Posts not showing – "No Posts Available"

    I’ve used WP for developing web sites but have not set up a blog. I feel like I’m missing some key point here in the set up.
    I cannot get my blog posts to show

    • I’ve created four posts
    • I’ve created three different blog pages
    • In “Reading” settings, I’ve chosen “static page” and then set up the “posts” page
    • I’ve set up tags and categories
    • I’ve switched themes
    • I’ve refreshed my Permalinks. I’ve tried creating a new blog posting page
    • I checked the PHP folders to make sure there was no “blog” folder per WordPress instructions

    While I’ve never set up a blog, I’ve used WordPress extensively for all kinds of sites. There could be a setting I’m not seeing or a problem but I can’t find anything easily in the documentation and the WP forums are very old comments.

    I’m not sure where to go from here in troubleshooting.

    It looks like you’re using a commercial theme from ThemeForest?

    We ask that you please go to the theme author’s official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best.

    Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    FWIW, just looking at the demo link from the theme author, the ‘latest blog entries’ are towards the end of the page perhaps the footer, if the theme author provided documentation maybe you could re-read it or from guessing, maybe the blog entries need to be activated via widgets? So perhaps take a look within Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets?

    Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, the theme developer said it was a WP issue so that’s why I went to this site. I’m not sure where to turn to next. I’m going to move it to a seperate hosting account and I’m hoping a clean install solves the issues????
