Blog Posts not showing

I’ve got a fairly new installation of WP with a static front page and post page setup to act as an event advertisement page. We want to post events to this page and then have the post expire as needed. That way we can set things up for automation.

However, I set the static frontpage and posting page. I’ve added a new post and it displays properly when previewed, but does not display on the public site. New posts don’t either.

I’ve tried reseting the permalink setting as some other posts have suggested, but have been unable to achieve any visible posts. I’ve also deactivated all the plugins with no avail and changed my theme to the 2015 theme without results either. The post is searchable from the search widget and I can open and view it. It’s just not being directed to the “posts” page.

Any help would be appreciated.
