    Hi there,

I have my static home page, plus a few other static pages.
I want to add a Blog, where, separately, every blog-post is shown in a list/nav menu. Preferably on the side. Can one not create a side-bar with the list of Categories, and blog-posts under each? The Blog Page would be blog home-page with the content (blog-posts) shown. Any thoughts on this?
    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @garycoetzee

You can easily create a separate Blog page using the block editor or Elementor.

For example, if you’re using the block editor, just create a new page and add a Column block in which you can have one big column for posts and another for the sidebar.

In the posts column, you can insert the Query Loop block, which provides many options to display your latest blog posts.

Or you can just find a block pattern that meets your needs and insert it to your new page:

Another method is by using Elementor and some widgets like Posts Grid from our free Elementor Addons plugin:

This plugin also includes many pre-built templates.
