I can’t figure out why some of my blogs are using images from another blog duplicating the blogs images. (I’ve not set these images and I’ve not set these blogs with no images) it has replaced the images I added and changed it to a different blogs images.

  • Please Check for Duplicate Image Names: If multiple images across your blogs share the same filename, it can cause conflicts, leading to incorrect images being displayed. Ensure each image has a unique filename to prevent this issue.

Hi, Thanks for replying. Are you talking about the physical file name of the image before I upload it NOT the image title ?

Because I download them all from google sheets and they all share the same file name like Image1, Image2 etc..

But then my question is why haven’t all blogs/articles had this conflict why only some of them?

Am I going to have to download the images from my google drive again, rename them & reupload?

    Thanks for the help

    Hello @zakf782 ,

I was a little busy. Has your problem been resolved?

    Thank You

If you haven’t solved this yet, do you have a current example?

Hi, Just to update you. It seems that it was in fact the file name. All my media files had the same name more specifically the actual conflict seemed to happen when I had a jpg & webp file with the exact same name webp file would override the other images on other blogs.

I didn’t fancy removing all media and reuploading with a new name so luckily I found a extension that would allow me to re-name the file names in bulk and that seems to have solved the issue.

Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it

It’s my pleasure. You are most welcome.
