Blog posts block 3-column layout issue

Setting “Style->General->Columns” to 3 in the Blog posts block configuration shows 3-column layout correctly in the edit page window, but creates only 2-column layout in the actual page. This happens whenever the font size for any of title/excerpt/Read more link is changed from default. The only way to get a 3-column layout is by leaving these font settings untouched. This seems to be a recent issue, I used to get correct layout before. Any help is appreciated.
