Blog posts and widget on front page

    Is there a way to show both the blog posts AND and the “latest news widget” on the same page? I would like for the latest news widget to be in between my slider and the blog posts.

    Front Page Widgets will replace the blog listing. But you can customize this feature by creating child theme and overriding parent theme. You may want to override front-page.php from child theme.
