Blog posts 404 error

    Hi I have made a sinlge blog post and saved it to draft and i was able to use elementor to design the blog post. As soon as I publish the post i get a 404 error

    This page could not be found!

    Perhaps you can try a new searching.

    This only happens when I make the post live. If I try to edit again with elemntor I get this error message

    sorry the content area was not found in your page
    you must call the the_content function

    Hope you can help thanks

    PS I dont need to use elementor to design the posts i am happy to use the default wordpress editor if that helps

    Hello, try this, go to your dashboard, click Settings > Permalinks, and click the Save Changes button, go back to your post and tell me if you still have the 404 error page.

    Hi thanks for the quick reply. I saved the permalink settings it is using postname. I have clicked save went to my blog page and I can see the post but when I click into it same 404 message.

    Have you try to disable all your plugins?
    Do you have the same issue with another theme?

    Hi very strange I deactivated all plugins but nothing happened same error message switched to 2017 theme was working then switched back to oceonwp and everything was now working. Activated again all plugins and it seems to still be working. Go figure
