  • For some reason my Blog pages disappeared from my website. I sent in a request about this on Monday, Jan 8th. I got an answer from one of the reps who asked for a link to my site and said there may be a theme issue. Above is the link.
    I’ve had this theme, which is GeneratePress for about 5 months now with no problem. Yesterday which was Tuesday I went to my website and now the blog posts are showing but at the beginning of my website with no header, before my Home Page. Which is what usually shows when you click on my site.
    Could someone please help

    To rule out any theme or plugins related issue, try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    I’m glad you resolved the problem Rita. What was the solution? Just in case someone else has the same problem.

    I went to Appearance and then menus and saw were my blog page showed invalid for some reason. Don’t know how that happened because yesterday it was there but it only had my very first blog post. Today even the word Blog was gone from my header.

    Then I added it again to my primary menu setting and when I updated it and went back to my site the blog posts were there and the blog section was in the header.

    I was surprised to see that.

    Don’t know what’s going on but I’m really not computer literate so most things are like speaking French to me. But hopefully soon…

    You know…the Magic Action Box plugin may have had something to do with the problem I had with my website. Just thought about that.
