    Hello!

I am a newer wordpress user and having issues with posts. We have a blog page for our organization. You can see the title and featured image on the list of posts, but when you go to that post’s page, the title doesn’t show. If I remove the featured image the title appears, but we’d like to have both.

I’ve tried changing the visible settings in the right column settings when editing the post, but there are no options other than public, private, or password protected. I’ve also checked to make sure it is a post and not a page.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey there, it seems that’s being modified by Elementor somehow. Here’s what our blog posts in this theme would usually look like:
    https://resonardemo.wordpress.com/2015/03/05/hello-world/

Are you able to confirm that, or find the setting in Elementor that’s overriding your headers?

Also, I noticed you’re hosted with WordPress.com. You are welcome to get direct support here: https://wordpress.com/help/contact

I’ve used elementor with most of the website, but I left it in the WordPress editor for blog posts. My Blog doesn’t show up like your example does. I’ve looked everywhere I could think of to find a setting that could be changed, but haven’t.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for WordPress.com. I will ask them as well!

A quick Update, I contacted wordpress.com for help. For some reason, they were able to see the featured image and blog title. When we disabled the elementor kit header/footer widget, it fixed the problem, but removed the footer and messed up the header. So there’s some kind of conflict between elementor and the Resonar theme.

    Hi there,

When we disabled the elementor kit header/footer widget, it fixed the problem

If you disabled that plugin and the issue was fixed, it indicates that the issue was with Elementor due to the fact it only manifests if that plugin is active. At this stage I would recommend reaching out to Elementor directly for support.

To clarify, Elementor is a 3rd party product for editing WordPress sites, and is intended to work with “any WordPress theme” without modification. It is not possible for us to add “Elementor support” to the Resonar theme so we would not be able to address the conflict from this end. Hope this helps point you in the right direction!

Thank you. I’ve already been directed to contact elementor and they said they have a bug on their end they will try to resolve.
