Blog Post section not appearing correctly

Today we published a blog post, and after publishing, the blog section on the “Home” page went from having blog articles side by side to having one normal sized blog article and two appearing in unnaturally thin boxes underneath the normal sized blog post. I was wondering if there was any way I could fix this or prevent it? I’ve disabled the blog section on the site for now because of this error. Thanks for any help or advice!
