Here are some simple steps.

1. Create a child theme and copy the index file of the theme.
2. Remove the round-div class from the thumbs list.

example:
<a class="round-div" href="..." title="...">...

should become
<a href="..." title="...">...

I’ve also checked both the syle sheet and index but they don’t show much – only a page or so of basic coding.
