  • Nope, this is definitely for the theme’s support forum. You don’t get theme answers in the main forums. We deal with WordPress here…

    that makes no sense at all. So which themes are supported in the main forums? And why doesn’t someone clear out the themes that have no support on their forums since it just takes up space and wastes peoples time.

    No themes are supported in the main forums. Each theme in the WP repository has its own support forum, which the author is not required to use. The main forums are for WordPress questions.

    wow! so www.remarpro.com has many themes in the repository that the support forums are literally dead. no one there to answer any questions. And the authors are not required to use. So the user is stuck with a theme that is broke or doesn’t work right and no support and that is the end of it. You get sent to the support forum for the theme, no one there to help, you come back here and are told there is no support here. Wow I have to say this is really bad. And a bad experience for sure.

    Wow, which part of all volunteer and as-is warranty did you not understand?
    You aren’t stuck with any theme. Feel free to try them all. Most themes do support their code, in their support forum. But it doesn’t make sense for WordPress forums to contain theme questions, since themes are add-ons to WordPress.

    Volunteering is great, if someone actually does the volunteer work. I’ve downloaded and gotten rid of about 5 more more themes now that I can’t even remember. Each one I’ve been told, nope can’t help you, go to the theme forum. Most of all those forums are useless and dead in the water. Go take a look. Posts not answered for months. What a waste of peoples time, I feel sorry for others in the same boat. Take a look at this forum, 9 months ago, 0 responses.

    I really don’t get all the hooplah about how wonderful wordpress is… this is nuts!!
