Blog Post image will not post publish on Social Sites – WON'T POST IMAGE

  • I am just installed a new www.remarpro.com website and I am trying to post a one of my blog posts on Facebook manually buy coping the URL

    https://knssconsulting.com/the-flow-of-business-3

    and pasting it the Facebook Status update.

    But for some reason it will not pick up the image of the post.

    I read other forum but I would like to find a resolution for this because the issue is with wordpress because the image wouldn’t show up on Facebook, Linkedin, Google Plus, Pinterest…etc

  • aha, just as I thought. You don’t have a gallery for the post.
    Follow very carefully:

    From the post editor, (the post in question) click the media uploader icon above the entry feild.

    When the media uploader opens, click “From Computor” and upload the image file. click save changes (you can edit later) you should now see a new tab called “Gallery”. let me know if you don’t.

    What I did is this

    1) removed featured from the bottom and then saved so there is no more feature
    2) I went to the icon to upload and image at the top of the post and clicked on that
    3) On the top it says “Gallery (1)” which is the image I have

    What would you like to to do now because there is not Feature image set.

    Plus once I finished that task I saved everything. grabbed the URL https://knssconsulting.com/the-flow-of-business-3

    tried to post it in Facebook and same issue.

    Then it’s clear that the “Flow of business” post has a gallery, and we tried with featured image, and without featured image.

    this may give a clue,
    this post has an image on fb, two thumbnails to choose from. what’s diferent about this post? and why button icons for the other?

    it is weird it does have 3 images but the actual real image of me is the wrong one for that post.

    I don’t know where it is pulling from.

    What do think?

    geez, I’m stumped. I don’t get this issue with my sites. Not sure what to try next. Maybe re post this thread. often when they get long people are less inclined to jump in. I think we need more help.

    no worries esmi i discovered how to get it to work already so it’s a non-issue. but thanks anyways.

    I am having an issue with getting any imaged at all to show up as a thumbnail on facebook. When I post the domain address it pulls a garbled message about my theme.. When I enter the domain and /any of my pages it pulls the short link but still no images. Can someone help me?
