I started experimenting with this plugin and the multi network concept and I am curious is it possible to eliminate the /blog/ from the first site on the network?

I would like to be able to have each root domain be able to stand on their own and expand as the network needs grow. Currently my first attempts all end up with a the root domain.com as a landing place with content listed, but the underlaying articles all default to https://domain.com/blog/%postname%/ as the permalink. If I edit the site via ‘my network’ to remove the /blog/ part from the url structure then the articles 404.

    Thoughts?
