"Blog pages show at most" constantly resets to "1"

  • Hey folks!

    So an odd bug I’ve recently noticed on one of my WordPress installations is the “Blog pages show at most” administrative setting under Settings > Reading constantly resets on its own — I can’t figure out exactly what causes it or when — from any number back to “1”.

    Has anyone else come across this odd error?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
