Blog pages not working after changed a permalink

  • Hi, first time here on the forum!

    I’m total website noob and I struggle with HTML. So I was foolish enough to tinker with the permalink on one of my blog posts.

    Then I tried to get into my blog via the menu. I get the list of posts but when I click on any of the entries, it says ‘page not found’.

    I’m running WordPress with a Comicpress theme.

    Thanks for any advice!

  • Try resetting your permalink by visiting Settings > Permalinks and clicking Save Changes. That often fixes permalink-related issues, so is always the first stop. Note any errors or messages you get.

    Fixed! I clicked the radio button back on the default permalink. That’ll teach me to go messing around where I don’t know.
