The reason I closed it was that you’re not asking a WordPress question, you’re asking a search engine question and that’s not really for these forums.
If you use an SEO plugin then you should consider asking in that plugin’s support sub-forum instead. It’s still not a WordPress topic but if it has to do with a plugin then at least you’d be asking in the right place.
]]>thank you, I am fairly new to word press and i use it for websites but i feel that using a blog on the website can potentially make a site look more streamlined and possibly less cluttered with new updated data, case studies info etc..
however until i blog a few time i will not know how it works / is seen in the search engines.
I was hoping for some input from word press users that work in this way to see if they can offer any advice.
i didn’t want to go down the blog route only to find in the long term it is not good for SEO.
hopefully someone can advise on the use of blogs in websites?
]]>It doesn’t matter if you use it for a blog or a news site or a database/wiki site.
We don’t offer general web advice here because it’s a bit out of scope. Can’t do everything ??
