Blog page unable to be full width

  • Hi, the blog page seems stuck with the sidebar showing no matter that I select Full Width page from Page Attributes for the Blogs page. These Page attributes settings seem to have no impact on the blogs page.

    My posts are long, like articles, and the sidebar makes them even longer and is a distraction on the page. How can I get the blogs page to be full width with title, or if this is not possible, for the sidebar to at least not appear on the blogs page?

    Yes, Page Attributes have no effect on the Blog page. It’s a special page, and as you probably figured, page content is not being displayed here as well. This is how WordPress template hierarchy works.
    If you simply remove all widgets from sidebar, it will not be displayed, and your posts will fill the available space.

    how do you make this theme a full width layout.
