Blog page showing only 1 post since theme and WP upgrades

  • After most recent upgrade of WP 3.9.1 and Customizr – the blog page only posts 1 blog. Change posts to more than 1 per page thru Appearance/Customize/Page-Post Layout/Max # of posts per page/10 or Settings/Reading/Blog Pages Show at Most – 10 no longer works. Even after saving changes, blog page defaults to only one post again.

  • The usual problem is plugin conflict, so will have to prove that first:
    Deactivate all plugins
    Test if OK
    If OK, reactivate plugins one-by-one to find the culprit
