Blog page question-error – 2011 Theme

  • I am using 2011 Theme. The website is mostly static. I was able to get the comments off all the pages. I was even able to get the subpages linked even without the subpage menu.

    However when I added comments to the News page (which is the only page I want for any Posts), it actually added the posts to Home and setup a comment field on News page. I originally had Home set with sticky post quote since I couldn’t figure out how to make it a static page, even with static page selected in Theme options.

    The other question is can I make the posts just a couple of lines with a read more button in 2011?

    This is a temp site until I get it working, then will be placed into production.
