Blog page not showing up

Just installed the app and I love it – so thank you! I am working on an individual site on a multi-site network, with a responsive theme that has a custom home page. I have set the “blog” page as a “blog and news” page template, have not designated anything is general settings>reading so that the custom home page will work. But, the blog digest is not showing up on the mobile version when I click on that page. Thank you in advance for your help.
