blog page listing the translated posts’ title but not the excerpt

    There’s this bug: in my translated blog page where posts are listed, Falang is showing the translated posts title but the excerpt is in the default language. If I click on a single post it goes to the correct translated page. Can you check if it’s a bug or something else? Thanks

    exerpt is always complicated , it’s manual exerpt or automatic exerpt based on content, how do you diplay this page ?

    …basically it’s a WPbakery blog query element, created by my theme. The exceprt is also driven by the theme’s options.

    Do you use the Falang for WPBakery plugin ? can you try with 1 blog element to make a manual excerpt and a translation

    if it’s done by your theme , i can’t test locally ? or it’s a free template or it’s possible to have this wpbakery shortcode.

    it’s perhaps more a Falang for WPBakery support

    It’s strange. Before testing the Add-on, I have disabled the Excerpt option from my theme, but they still appear in the posts list. Also, there is no excerpt option within the single blog query element. I wonder why.

    do you have a link for this elements ?

    Try to put in the post “Museo dell Aria di san pelagio” a manual exerpt and translate it with falang to see if it’s work

    ….I was searching for a manual excerpt field within the single post, but it doesn’t exist.

    Here‘s post examples from the theme documentation.

    Now I found the excerpt field, it wasn’t enabled by WP. Falang is able to read the default/translated language if I use the manual field ?? but only if I use it, whereas it doesn’t work if I leave the field empty

    yes if you set manual excerpt file , falang will work with it,

    but you use a wpbakery element perhaps this element will not work, i haven’t worked yet with this plugin for wpbakery
