My blog page keeps redirecting to a wrong page. If I rename this blog page from e.g. ‘blog’ to ‘blogs’ all is fine but I don’t want to do that. What could be cause of this?

    This page is faulty:

Found out that the redirect was stored in a cookie. Why does WordPress do this!? Causes many visitors to see the wrong page!

I don’t quite understand the problem. When I click on the link I’m not redirected. Everything’s OK.

You renamed the page, if I understood correctly? From blog to blogs? Then WordPress actually carries out a similarity search when you open blog, since there is no longer a page with that name. It should find blogs and redirect you there – without any cookies.

WordPress actually only sets cookies when you log in or comment. Unless, of course, you use some plugins that intervene at that point, e.g. an SEO plugin or a redirection plugin. I also see that you use jetpack. That actually interferes in many places too. If you have the problem again, I would recommend deactivating individual plugins as a test to rule them out as the cause.

Yes on a different browser all was fine. When I deleted the cookies on Firefox the problem was solved. Kinda strange.
