Thanks. But I have read this section numerous times and still can’t see just what file I need to modify to change the top entry-titles from h2 to h3 heads. Could you be a bit more specific?

Also, I have set the main blog page to be a single column format the others, but the sidebar still appears.

Do not edit the Twenty Ten theme. First create a child theme for your changes.

I have, that’s how I got the rest of the site designed. I am having trouble understanding why the Post pages aren’t following the rest. I am presuming that I need to edit (create a child) another php file or something, but can’t seem to find which one. I tried many loop-attachment.php, one-column.php, etc. but nothing makes the changes.

The individual (standard) posts are controlled by content.php

Interesting. I do not see a content.php in the TwentyTen templates listing. Am I missing something or looking in the wrong area?

Sorry… sorry! I’m thinking of Twenty Eleven. In Twenty Ten, standard post display is controlled by the third section of loop.php.

I’m back. NOw I can’t seem to figure out why the search widget area is running into the header space. None of the other Blog pages do this. Do you — or anyone– have any ideas.

Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.
