Blog page code

I am new to WordPress, so bear with me.

I have a theme called WP-Polaroid. I have created a Blog page, that has no code in it. I need to get the blog postings/replies/comments on that page. Where do I go or what file do I copy the code from? I have tried index.php, main_page template.php, and it does not give me any output, basically a blank page.

I suppose this is s simple fix, but I am still feeling my way around this whole WP thing. Basically I have figured everything out otherwise. Great program!
