Blog page acting strange and not showing new posts.

Hi guys, so a couple of days ago I tried to add 2 new posts to this wordpress site I’m working on but they won’t show up on my blog page. I’ve checked the databases, wp-config and all of that stuff to rule that out. I’ve also deactivated all of my plugins which doesn’t fix it. I tried making a new page for my blog posts which worked (https://www.socialmedia24seven.com/the-blog/) but then when I tried to link to it from my menus it got all messed up and would still send you to the old Blog page (still being linked at https://www.socialmedia24seven.com) which still doesn’t show new posts. So I tried placing a “Link” in my menu instead of the wordpress “Add Page To Menu” function so that it would link directly to that URL and there would be no confusion – but no, it still linked to the old Blog page. So I deleted the old blog page, but it made no difference, and now it still links to the old Blog and the “The Blog” new page has disappeared from my pages menu in the dashboard. Plus I have my blog posts set to share through the “The Blog” page so there shouldn’t be anything on the old page.

So basically I have a working page (you’ll notice on this page that there’s two extra posts about twitter):

Which is wrong!

Someone please help, I’m completely stumped!
