Blog on my website

    I’ve installed the latest version of WordPress and I’d like to implement my own website design instead of using a predefined template.
    I’ve read the instructions but I don’t find the way of doing it.
    Can anyone please tell me an easy way of starting. For more details my website https://floatingpenguin.co.uk
    I’ve got Google Adsense in my current article and I wonder if that would be possible implementing WordPress.

    I’d suggest starting with Theme Development.

    I find the instructions a bit difficult to follow. Can anyone show me a few easy steps to start with?
    WordPress is already installed I only need to know how to implement my original website design instead of using a WordPress template.

    You have to use a theme with WordPress. so your only options are to either create your own theme from scratch or use a pre-existing theme that is close to what you want.

    Thank you esmi, I’ve got it this time.

    I’d like to know if it’s possible to remove the publication date.
    I’m writing timeless articles and I don’t want any date on them otherwise they will look old and after a while not interesting for new readers.
