Blog on front page AND separate page

Hi all,

I’m currently working on alexrothwell1.com and trying to sort out my blog page. I’m running Modality theme and have chosen the option for my front page to “display latest posts”. However, I’ve only done this because i like the design not because I want my posts there. I then want my posts under a separate page called “articles”, however it appears when I select “display latest posts” on the home page, I then can’t make a page for posts it seems?

Does anyone have any ideas how I can achieve this effect?

Any help is appreciated as the theme creator doesn’t appear to respond to messages. Thanks in advance
