Blog not showing

  • I just installed wordpress on my server(hostgator)Everything went well and after I activated the plugins I needed and selected my theme, and published my first post, I clicked on the view site text next to the blog title and instead of seeing the blog, I see the index page of my website (https://pastfinderonline.com) What is causing this and could anyone help me resolve this problem?

  • Where within the domain is the blog in question? It’s not at pastfinderonline.com. Is it within a subdirectory? Can you give the url of the blog please?

    edit: I found it. Check to see if there’s a index.html file within the root of your file system. If so, you need to remove it. It’s conflicting with your wordpress install.
