Blog not appearing on search engines

  • My blog address is https://mdbenoit.com/blog and it’s title is Life’s Weirder Than Fiction.

    The Tagline is: “Reflections on reality in fiction and fiction in reality. Book Reviews, art, oddities, and comments on life from Science Fiction Mystery Author M. D. Benoit”

    I have submitted my blog over and over to search engines and it appears only if I search on “Weirder” for instance but if I search on MD Benoit or mdbenoit, it doesn’t. My old Blogger blog does appear when I search on those, however.

    Does anyone have an idea what I should do?

    Have I been hacked somehow? I’ve changed the look quite a bit, several times, including templates and sidebar. Would that come into play?

    Thanks in advance for any help or hints about this.

  • A basic suggestion is install the google sitemap plugin and let them know you’re out there.
    Other than that…patience grasshopper.

    I’ve already done that, and I’ve had my blog for over a year, so I’d say it’s a different problem.
