Blog Name…

    I just installed WP at https://knitting.kurki15.com and I’m trying to make it somewhat personalize without spending a ton of time on it. I have no PHP experience though. I figured out the CSS stuff to change colors and the like, but what I’m struggling with right now is the name of my blog. Everywhere it’s printing out knitting.kurki15.com – in the title of the browser window and in the header of the page, but that is not what I want it to say. I tried to change it but messed up the PHP so I’m getting a yellow error highlight in DreamWeaver and it is still displaying knitting.kurki15.com. I’ve tried to go through the template tutorial stuff, but it is not nearly as clear to follow as the CSS stuff was.
    Can anyone help me out???

    Did you try changing your blog title under “options” ?

    In your index.php there is a tag for the title, in the head. Look for <title></title> What you put in there will be what you see in the browser window.
    For the heading, follow phrancey and find the option for the blog title.
    Just a hint, I stopped using an editor like DW. I learned how to hand code first and thought I would take the easy way out and let DW do it for me. If you don’t know what to fix, editors aren’t really helpful. Just my opinion.
