Blog Listing Template redirects to home page

I customized the Blog Listing Template and saved my settings. But then when I go to /blog page, it redirects to the home page. I have made sure that under Reading > Settings the home page is set to Home and the blog page is set to Blog. Moreover, this shouldn’t be an issue because the existing site is already using these pages.

What can I do to stop the Blog page from redirecting? Is this a bug? Thanks for any help you can provide.
